25 Jun Peace is knowing yourself!
We all seek for peace, sometimes desperately.
🎯But Peace comes from knowing God, and the understanding of who we are and the roles we were created to play.
🎯Trying to be anyone else ends in disharmony and crisis.
🎯A hen is not meant to soar like an eagle, and it will never know peace if it insists on flying on flying like one.
🎯Similarly, an eagle is is not supposed to have colourful feathers like the peacock
🎯Being satisfied to be who we are and created to be, make us have peace with ourselves.
🎯John the Baptist was comfortable with his role as forerunner of Jesus and insisted he was not the Messiah.
💥He stuck to his role, without comparing himself to others.
💥Yet Jesus described him as the greatest of all the prophets
🎯We seem to be at peace until somebody more powerful, somebody more beautiful, more talented emerges.
🎯John the Baptist was himself, even on the arrival of Jesus and was ready to serve Him
🎯Have the confidence and the self-esteem to be who you are.
🎯God wants you to be happy to be you.
🎯Nobody should be able to beat you by being you. Be the best of yourself.
💥Because you were not created to be another person.
