Eighteen people were reportedly killed in the early hours of Monday as armed bandits attacked a mosque in Maza-Kuka Community, Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger State.

* Two high-ranking leaders of the Boko Haram, Amir Modou Marte and Amir Moustapha Baga, have been killed, according to PRNigeria .They were killed in an ambush laid by their rival fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province on Sunday.

* A clash between some locals and herders in Jankasa village, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State has claimed four lives with three injured.
