A video released by the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) on Friday showed how the insurgents invaded the Tukur Buratai Institute for War and Peace (TBI) located in Buratai village, Biu Local Government Area of Borno State. In its reaction, the Nigerian Army University’s management said the “terrorists who came in their numbers were met by superior firepower forcing them to retreat in disarray. Unfortunately, 2 civilian staff of the Institute paid the supreme price.
* Four persons have been found dead, while a search for missing persons is ongoing, following an attack by suspected insurgents linked to the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) on Kautikari community in Chibok LGA of Borno.

Four yet-to-be-identified students of the Federal University, Lafia, Nasarawa State, North-central Nigeria, have been reportedly abducted in a community near the university.
* An attack at the Mgbidi Divisional Police Headquarters in Imo State on Friday night has left a police Inspector dead with another policeman sustaining injuries
