* Bandits have killed four residents of Goska community in Jema’a Local Council of Kaduna State, according to the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

* In Katsina State, seven persons, including a police officer, lost their lives during an attack by bandits at Zandam village, in Jibia Local Council.

* Sixty-two persons have been rescued from kidnappers’ den in a forest located at the border area between Taraba and Benue states. The rescued persons, from Wukari and Takum towns in Taraba, were abducted by unidentified gunmen suspected to be Gana boys several months ago.

* Gunmen dressed in the uniform of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have killed two persons and injured five others at Agulu Creek, Asari Toru Local Government Area, Rivers State.
