The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali, has confirmed the appointment of Olumuyiwa Adejobi as the substantive Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force.

The statement announcing the confirmation was signed by the administrative officer of the public relations unit, Anjuguri Manzah, on Tuesday.

Mr Adejobi takes over fully from Frank Mba who has proceeded on a course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Plateau State.

Before his confirmation, Mr Adejobi was the acting force PRO since the exit of Mr Mba in February.

He graduated with combined honours in Archeology and Geography from the University of Ibadan. He also holds a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same University.
