NNPC dismisses fuel scarcity, says 2bn litres in stock

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd has dismissed fears of petrol scarcity. There have been queues in filling stations in Abuja the last few weeks amid fear of increase in pump price and scarcity.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC, Garba Deen Muhammad, cautioned Nigerians against panic buying in the yuletide period.
