The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra state has confirmed the killing of two officers by hoodlums in a gun duel in Nneyi, Umueri in Anambra East Local Government Area.

The Public Relations Officer, Okadigbo Edwin, in a statement said the officers’ riffles were carted away while their vehicle was set ablaze during the attack.

He said the State Commandant, David Bille, was collaborating with sister security agencies to investigate the incident.
