The senator representing Imo West was forcefully arrested on Tuesday when operatives of the EFCC broke into his Abuja home after a seven-hour siege.

The commission had said the arrest was necessitated by Okorocha’s refusal to attend his trial.

In the court today, Inyang Ekwo, the judge, fixed Tuesday to hear the bail applications of the defendants and  ordered that they should remain in EFCC custody, pending the determination of their bail request. The court also fixed November 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 for trial.
