08 Mar COVID-19 Update: No deaths in 17 days in Nigeria
Nigeria’s recorded the 17th straight day of zero deaths on Monday as new infections fell to just two cases, the lowest single day infection in 2022. The infections were logged in Kaduna and Rivers respectively.
With the new cases, Nigeria has now recorded 254,659 confirmed cases, 249,206 recoveries and 3,142 deaths.

* The World Health Organisation (WHO) has officially confirmed that COVID-19 cases and fatalities are declining globally, but insisted that it is “far too early to declare victory” over the pandemic.
