04 May Buhari Appoints Musa Sulaiman As Acting Statistician-General

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Musa Dala Sulaiman, as the Acting Statistician-General of the Federation to head the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Sulaiman, whose appointment takes immediate effect, was before now the Northeast Zonal Controller of the NBS.

He takes over from Dr Simon B. Harry, who passed away last week.

The President has also approved the extension of the tenure of seven (7) retiring Permanent Secretaries for a period of one calendar year with effect from 25th April, 2022.
