🌎Oil prices rose on Tuesday for a fourth consecutive session as weak U.S. shale output spurred further concerns about a supply deficit stemming from extended production cuts by Saudi Arabia and Russia. Global oil benchmark Brent crude futures were up 41 cents, or 0.43%, to $94.84 a barrel by 0751 GMT.
*The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has sent packing some of its management staff with less than 15 months to statutory retirement to quit today. This followed the recent promotion of three of its personnel to the position of vice Presidents
*Forty-eight oil companies including the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) are currently owing the Nigerian Government $8.265 billion in unremitted revenues. This was contained in an audit revealed report by the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI).

*Gunmen have reportedly abducted several passengers on the Otukpo – Enugu expressway, along Olanyega/Ogbodo road in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State.
*Many people, mostly farmers, were reportedly killed and many others displaced during attacks by bandits on seven villages at the border between Kebbi and Sokoto State. The villages included Zawaini, Jangargari and Jaja in Kebbi State as well as Karani and three others in Sokoto State.
