🌎President Bola Tinubu has increased the proposed monthly allowance for federal civil servants from N25,000 to N35,000, an official has said. The money is still to be paid monthly for six months. The increment was announced in a statement by Information Minister Mohammed Idris.

🌎Oil prices climbed $1 on Monday after suffering losses at the end of last week, as investors’ focus returned to a tight global supply outlook while a last-minute deal that avoided a U.S. government shutdown restored some risk appetite.

🌎In a statement on Sunday evening, BUA cement, said the company’s management said it had now decided to bring the “price reduction forward” in fulfilment of the pledge. “As a result, BUA Cement would now be sold at an ex-factory price N3,500 per bag so that Nigerians can begin to enjoy the benefits of the price reduction before the completion of our plants,” the company said.
