At least four persons were killed by gunmen during an attack on the Gambar Sabon-Layi community in Tafawa Balewa LGA of Bauchi state.

* Gunmen yesterday kidnapped at least six persons including a corps member at Ikem community in the Isi-Uzo local government area of Enugu State.

* A police officer was killed on Saturday when gunmen attacked Oguta Divisional Police Headquarters in the Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.

* The abducted Sole Administrator of the Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, Chris Ohizu, has been beheaded after his abductors allegedly received N6 million as ransom.
