Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday ambushed troops of Operation Hadin Kai escorting commercial vehicles from Maiduguri to Damboa in Falouja village, Borno State, leading to a heavy exchange of gunfire between the terrorists and the soldiers.

* At least seven security men including one policeman, four members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) were abducted by the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists group in the early hours of Saturday in North Eastern Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State.

* At least 15 worshippers were killed when bandits attacked a mosque in Ruwan Jema community, Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State, during Juma’at service on Friday.
