09 Dec President Buhari is in Lagos
President Muhammadu Buhari is in Lagos. His plane touched down at the Presidential Lounge of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos in the early hours of the day, where he was received by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other officials.
During the one-day visit, Buhari is expected to commission naval boats and helicopters and also attend the book launch of a former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bisi Akande.
In a statement yesterday by Tunde Rahman, media aide to the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, said the President will be a special guest of honour at the public presentation of “My Participations, an autobiography of the former interim chairman of the APC, Bisi Akande, at an event that would hold at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island.
According to the statement, Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu would be the chief host while Tinubu is the guest of honour for the event.
