N’Golo Kante On His Way To Saudi Arabia

N’Golo Kante is reportedly poised to make a potentially sensational move from English Premier League side Chelsea to Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.

The Frenchman, who is out of contract this summer, has engaged in extensive discussions regarding a contract extension. Although there was strong interest from Paris Saint-Germain, it seemed likely that Kante would commit his future to Chelsea. There has been approached by Al Ittihad and is now open to exploring the potential of a move to the Middle East.

Kante’s representatives recently met with a delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) in London. Talks are said to have progressed positively, and an agreement for a lucrative two-year deal is now said to be in the works.

While the exact financial details remain undisclosed, it is believed that Kante will earn slightly less than his international teammate, Karim Benzema, who recently joined Al Ittihad on a three-year contract.

The impending departure of Kante, a key figure in Chelsea’s recent successes, will mark the end of his remarkable eight-season stint in the EPL. It could also be the catalyst for a significant overhaul within Chelsea’s squad. With newly appointed head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, at the helm, the club is poised to make crucial decisions regarding its key personnel. Apart from Kante, another midfield stalwart, Mateo Kovacic, is rumoured to be heading for the exit, potentially to join reigning champions Manchester City.

Additionally, uncertainties surround the future of Mason Mount, as several EPL rivals have expressed interest in securing the services of the talented 24-year-old. While Mount has reportedly already reached personal terms with Manchester United, Pochettino may still see him as a valuable asset in his long-term plans for Chelsea.
