19 Jun Forgetting God after receiving
The power of Hannah’s Prayer of Praise has been noted by many Men of God.
🎯Too often we pray before receiving, but then forget to pray after God answers.
🎯Hannah’s prayer is considered by many as one of most spontaneous and the powerful prayers in the Bible.
🎯When Hannah received the child she begged God for, her first instinct was to praise the One who provided.
💥She wanted to thank Him for His greatness and His deliverance in the same measure of desperation with which she begged for the child.
🎯It is recommended that we let this prayer, reproduced partly below, which has become a popular song, guide us in thanks:
🎯My heart exults in the Lord;my horn is exalted in the Lord.
🎯My mouth derides my enemies,because I rejoice in your salvation.
🎯There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.
🎯Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth;
for the Lord is a God of knowledge,and by him actions are weighed…..
