The Federal Executive Council meeting chaired by President Buhari approved N84 billion for the construction of three major roads, including the road linking Shehu Yar’adua Way with the Kubwa Expressway in the Federal Capital Territory, Oyo–Ogbomoso road and the Loko-Oweto bridge.

On behalf of ministers from the South-west, Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola briefed the Council about the shooting and the destruction of property that took place in Lagos during the #EndSARS protest, urging .the FG to investigate military involvement.
