The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the deployment of anti-riot policemen in the Police Mobile Force (PMF) to protect lives and property as the #EndSARS protests intensify nationwide.

The order was contained in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, on Tuesday.
The order is coming on the heels of the #EndSARS protest that has been hijacked by hoodlums and led to the loss of lives.In the last two weeks, thousands of Nigerian youth have taken to the streets to express their grievances.
