23 Jan COVID-19 Update: Daily Infection fall to 29
On Saturday, Nigeria reported 29 new cases, the lowest in 2 months, and zero deaths. So, there are now 251959 cases, 225946 recoveries and 3124 deaths in the country.
The 29 new cases were reported from 3 States: Lagos (27), Kano (1) and Rivers (1)
* Lagos State Health Commissioner Prof. Akin Abayomi had announced the end of the COVID-19 fourth wave in the state. He said consistent decrease in positive cases of daily infection in the January 20 update indicated the end of fourth wave in Lagos.
