Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has undergone surgery in an undisclosed medical facility in Lagos State, to alleviate prostate cancer.

In an interview with Saturday Vanguard, he said it is not the first battle he will fight and he is certain he will win in the fight against prostate cancer.

He encouraged men to face the scourge of prostate cancer squarely by testing and seeking remedy earlier because early detection guarantees success in its treatment.

“When I broke the news that I was managing prostate cancer, I stated that I won’t go down without a fight, I, hereby reiterate that statement.
