Ahead of its inauguration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will, on Thursday, meet with members-elect of the 10th National Assembly.

Notice of the meeting was conveyed in a letter addressed to the Senate and read by the Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, who presided over proceedings on Wednesday.

The letter reads: “I wish, by this medium, to invite all Senators-elect and House of Representative members–elect at the State House on Thursday 8th June 2023 by 2pm.”

Although the agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed, sources say the meeting might not be unconnected with the leadership of the 10th National Assembly.
